El Resplandor

Miniserie de televisión de 4 episodios, de 65 minutos cada uno, que adapta la novela de Stephen King llevada a la gran pantalla por Stanley Kubrick en 1980. La pesadilla comienza cuando Jack Torrance acepta el puesto de vigilante durante el invierno con su mujer y su hijo en el aislado y deshabitado hotel Overlook, que arrastra tras de sí una macabra historia de violencia. Un lugar donde Jack podrá comenzar su carrera de escritor y olvidar su tormentoso pasado. Pero Danny, el hijo de Jack, posee un poder psíquico llamado "el resplandor", y descubre que existen fuerzas malignas que habitan en el hotel y que han comenzado a ejercer su poder...

Television adaptation of Stephen King novel that follows a recovering alcoholic professor. He ends up taking a job as a winter caretaker for a remote Colorado hotel which he seeks as an opportunity to finish a piece of work. With his wife and son with him, the caretaker settles in, only to see visions of the hotel's long deceased employees and guests. With evil intentions, they manipulate him into his dark side which takes a toll on he and his family.
