Días de Gloria

Faltan 2 días para licenciarse y Jack (Ben Affleck) tiene muchas dudas sobre el futuro. Todo su grupo de amigos se está rompiendo y cada uno hace sus propios planes. Sus últimos cuatro años de estudiante han sido los mejores de su vida, y se pregunta si no es un error dejar esa vida sólo porque ha llegado la hora de licenciarse. Mientras sus compañeros empiezan a tener contactos con la vida real tras la universidad, Jack decide que quiere alargar sus días de gloria por más tiempo…

Jack vive tan bien en la universidad, siempre de juerga, que cuando llega el momento de licenciarse decide quedarse más tiempo, aunque sus amigos empiezan a pensar en el mundo laboral. Ben Affleck rodó esta descerebrada comedia, estilo American Pie, un año antes de despuntar con El indomable Will Hunting. Le acompañan otros jóvenes que posteriormente han triunfado, como Matthew McConaughey y Sam Rockwell.

It's two days before graduation, and Jack is having serious doubts about the future. The old gang is breaking up - Rob is moving to L.A. with his girlfriend; Dennis is finishing his third degree and going to grad school in Michigan; Slosh has dropped out of school and stays drunk all the time; and Mickey, who still has a year of school to go, seems tired of the scene and wishes he had the guts to tell his friend Chelsea how he feels about her. As Jack looks out at his four years in Santa Cruz, he wonders if this isn't the best time of his life, and he wonders whether it might be a mistake to let it all go just because of graduation. As his pals also get glimpses of life after college, he decides he's not going to leave, that he's going to live his glory days a little longer.
